A movement-based performance, largely focused on the body and its components.
“I need to fill every part of myself, absent, undefined, not absorbed by events or even by imagination. I am an asymmetrical pawn in a society of symmetry, hypocrisy, an attempt to lose you in every possible corner. I want to be half-full, fully even, though born from nonexistence. Don’t let me get lost, dear. You will always find yourself, just breathe deeply”.

Wiktoria Sobota
Born in 2000. A media artist primarily exploring movement – ideally free, untamed, from within. Her latest interests include the art of crochet, video art, and lipstick application (beautifying – defiling). She explores the unborn, fusing contrasting emotions, which she translates onto her body in a broad understanding of movement, and she engages in activism. She shaped her discovery as a dancer in performances in Poznań (“Pendulum” – The Boundlessness of Human Innocence; Group Analog – “Try Walking in My Shoes”), Lębork (“Five More Minutes Dance Theatre” – “About Pleasure”; “River”; “Taming”; “Experiment”), and Gdynia (Musical Theatre in Gdynia – “Whispers of the Hearts”).
In 2023, she won third place in the performative review “Trybuna – Performance in Process” in Poznań, presenting a solo piece, using movement, sounds recorded over several years with a dictaphone, and a handmade costume. She spoke about transition, the amniotic fluid we are born in, and how it slowly absorbs into us. This year, she worked with the feminist collective “Femme Brutal” in Norway (Oslo, Bergen), where she was involved in choreographic work with the band Siory. She is currently working on the performance “Tekkk-ło Falls to Earth” in Poznań, directed by Monika Wińczyk.
